Welcome to the roadmap
Welcome
Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing, best paid fields in tech, and the world needs far more defenders than it has. This roadmap is a guided path from the basics to job-ready skills: networking, security fundamentals, Linux, Python, traffic analysis, logs, cloud, ethical hacking, and how to land the job.
Each lesson gives you the core ideas in short notes, points you to a quality free video or resource to go deeper, and sets a small task to make it stick. Go at your own pace.
This is a roadmap, not a shortcut. Real skill comes from doing: watch, read, then practise in the labs we link to.
The curated resource links throughout are drawn from the open-source 90 Days of Cybersecurity roadmap (MIT licensed). The notes are our own.
Practice
Decide how many hours a week you can give this, and write it down. In security, consistency beats intensity, a steady hour a day goes a long way.
