Hybrid Master Class: AI, Management & Research (Sierra Leone)

What you'll learn
A hands-on program that turns in-demand topics into practical, job-ready skills. Depending on the track you choose, you will build real ability in:
- Artificial intelligence: the foundations, the practical tools, and how to apply AI to real problems.
- Management: planning, leading teams, and running projects that actually deliver.
- Research: asking good questions, gathering and analyzing data, and presenting findings clearly.
You learn by doing, with projects you can show.
How it works
This is a hybrid program. You study online on the RiseAfrica platform at your own pace, then meet in person for practical, hands-on sessions guided by expert facilitators. The two halves work together: self-paced theory online, application and feedback in the room.
Format
- Duration: each cohort runs over 4 to 6 months.
- Schedule: flexible, with in-person sessions on weekends or set weekdays.
- Location: in-person in Freetown, Sierra Leone, plus online from anywhere.
- Facilitators: each topic is led by someone with real expertise in it.
- Finish: complete the requirements to graduate and earn a RiseAfrica certificate.
Who it's for
College and university students, recent graduates, and young professionals who want practical skills beyond the classroom. No prior experience is needed to start.
Prerequisites
- None for the fundamentals. Beginners are welcome.
- A laptop and internet access for the online part.
- A willingness to attend the in-person sessions and complete the projects.
Fees
The program sustains itself through a modest registration fee and a development fee, which keep it running and support the local facilities. Full details are shared during registration.
Certificate
Participants who complete the program graduate and receive a verifiable RiseAfrica certificate.
