Training young women to collect Sierra Leone's STEM language data
By RiseAfrica Foundation

Today we began training the young women who will collect data for our open STEM dataset in Krio, Mende and Temne.
We are doing this with Girls Connect Sierra Leone through the Salone Learn Pilot. The participants are learning how to gather clear STEM questions and answers, record them accurately, and work alongside the teachers who verify every entry.
By integrating these young women into the data collection process for our Salone Learn Pilot, we are not only strengthening our research but also empowering girls with hands-on STEM experience.
