About the Career Connect Forum
The Career Connect Forum brings young people together with practitioners to explore the skills and opportunities shaping the future of work. This June edition focuses on AI for Career Success: how artificial intelligence is changing careers, and how young people can use it to create opportunities rather than be left behind.
Our founder as facilitator
Ibrahim Denis Fofanah, founder of RiseAfrica Foundation and a data scientist and AI researcher, joins as a facilitator for this edition. His session looks at AI in plain, practical terms: what it is, where it is already changing work, and the concrete steps a student or young professional can take to build real, job-ready skills.
His message is simple. AI is not only about machines. It is about people using new tools to solve problems, create value, and lead change in their communities.
Why this matters to us
This is exactly the kind of work RiseAfrica exists to support. Across the continent, talented young people are ready to learn, but practical, hands-on guidance is hard to come by.
