From results to meaning

Getting results is one thing. Explaining what they mean is the heart of your dissertation, and it must be your own thinking. This is exactly the part AI must not do for you.

AI can still help you think it through, as a sounding board:

My finding is: [state your result plainly].
What are some possible explanations for this? What questions should I ask myself
about it? Do not write my discussion for me.

Use its questions to push your own interpretation deeper. Then write the discussion yourself. The reader wants to know what you think your results mean, not what a machine guessed.
